When I told my sister I was putting together an equipment guide, she said, “What equipment do you need?”
It’s true, running is perhaps the least equipment heavy of sports. Yet, there’s a lot to consider before you hit the ground running.
Wearing the wrong shoes, forgetting your fluids or neglecting to wear sunscreen can lead to some pretty miserable running experiences. Trust me, I’ve been fried to a crisp and nearly begging for water on more than one occasion.
I’ve developed a reader’s digest list of things I find helpful. Of course, you can run barefooted and in your underwear, but that’s not fun … at least under most circumstances. The product recommendations are mine and not influenced by any manufacturer.
